This is exactly as it implies: 

only outsiders think.

Why

Maybe the connected 

Need not think

Why

Maybe the outsider 

Has little choice

Why

Maybe thinking

Is an act of survival

Why

Maybe thinking Is an antidote

To family To fascism

To fanatics

Why

Maybe thinking 

Threatens unity.

Broke My Ass on a Memory

writers are not journalists or historians 

we remember what is necessary

and discard the remains 

like orange peels

for memory 

is a bad lover 

unwilling

to share the bed
